Somehow Giger's "first" airbrush painting; while finishing with the passgen; he started
experimenting with the airbrush; the first of those are work no 178, 179, 180.
This airbrush has been started probably the same day as 178, just a moment before; but then Giger changed his mind,
finished to paint and gave it away to a friend which was with him this moment. Then he started work no 178,
on which he painted during several days.
Passagen book page 64; Necronomicon book page 32:
"Finally, motivated by a friend, I started new experiments with the airbrush......."
(so were made the works no 168, 179, 180....)
This is probably the first of the airbrush paintings yet to come, done an instant before 178...

Finally I managed to get hold of this painted pvc egg! For years I was searching for it!
Although Gigers degenerated babys are well known to many people, he made only very few paintings on this topic.
This is why I was so keen getting this egg, with the nice babys..
